The Journal of Sustainable Rural Development has been published by the Geography and Rural Planning Association of Iran since April 2017 in bi-quarterly form (2 issues per year). According to the report of the latest assessment and ranking of scientific publications in 2021 by the Scientific Publications Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, this publication has been rated "B".

Journal of Sustainable Rural Development of the Scientific Association of Geography and Rural Planning of Iran in various domestic and foreign forums such as DOAJ, ISC, Civilica, PSJ, Google Scholar, Magiran, ISSN, SID, Research Bible, Citefactor, Noormags, CHSP, Europud, Journal Factor, International Scientific Indexing, Linked in, SIS and Publons is indexed.

According to the action of Journal of Sustainable Rural Development to be indexed in international databases, registration and display of free ORCID ID and academic email is required for all authors of articles (especially the responsible author). Therefore, respected authors are requested to obtain the ORCID researcher ID code before submitting the article to the journal.

Note 5:

we cordially ask the Persian language authors and researchers who are interested in submitting an article through the journal's website; first, register on the journal's website, second, send the full file of their articles in Farsi along with its extended abstract for the refereeing process, third, after accepting the article be coordinated with the executive manager of the journal, and finally, upload the final file of their article in English version on the publication's website.
